The jewelry
What is 18k gold filled?
Gold filled is not plating. A thick layer of solid 18k gold is bonded under heat and pressure to a jeweller’s brass core, and by law that gold layer has to be at least 5% of the total weight. Plating is a microscopic coating that rubs off in months; gold filled is roughly 100 times thicker.
Will it turn my skin green or fade?
No. Because the gold layer is solid and bonded, it does not flake or transfer. With normal wear our pieces keep their color for years.
Can I shower, swim or sweat in it?
Yes. Our pieces are water safe, so you can shower, work out and wash your hands with them on. We do recommend taking them off in a chlorinated pool or the sea if you will be in for hours, simply because chlorine and salt dull the shine over time.
Is it hypoallergenic?
Yes. Gold filled is one of the safest options for sensitive skin, because what touches you is solid gold and not a nickel alloy.
Is it the same as solid gold?
No, and we would never say it is. Solid gold is gold all the way through and costs many times more. Gold filled gives you the same look and the same durability in daily wear, at a price you can actually buy more than one of.
Sizing
How do I know my size?
Wrap a strip of paper or a tape measure around your wrist, ankle or neck, mark where it meets, and measure it flat. Our Size Guide walks you through it and tells you how much to add for a comfortable fit.
What if it does not fit?
You have 30 days. Write to us and we will arrange an exchange for the right size, or a refund, whichever you prefer. Engraved pieces are the exception, since they are made for one person.
Personalized pieces
How long does an engraved piece take?
The same as everything else: we make and dispatch it within 2 to 3 business days, plus the shipping time you choose.
Can I change the text after ordering?
Within 24 hours of placing the order, yes. Email us with your order number. After that the piece is already in production.
What if I spell the name wrong?
We engrave exactly what you type at checkout, so please read it twice before adding to cart. We cannot correct a spelling mistake once the piece is engraved.
Orders and shipping
When will my order arrive?
We dispatch within 2 to 3 business days. After that, Economy takes 5 to 8 business days and Standard 3 to 4. International times vary by destination.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Economy shipping is free on U.S. orders of $50 or more.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to the United States, Canada and 38 more countries. Customs duties and import taxes are set by your country and are paid by you, not included in what you pay us.

How do I track my order?
You get an email with a tracking number as soon as it ships. The first scan can take up to 24 hours to appear, which is normal.
Returns
What is your return policy?
30 days from delivery, unworn and in its original packaging. You can choose an exchange or a refund. Engraved and custom-sized pieces, and earrings for hygiene reasons, cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty.
Who pays return shipping?
You do, unless the return is our fault. If a piece is faulty or we sent the wrong item, we cover everything.
